[ At some point while Nao is over at Furryhouse for the Idlesweek dinner, she presents Will with a package. No wrapping paper, unfortunately, but it seems Nao made do using layers of colorful string to neatly tie the contents together and topped it off with a bow she knitted.

The package contains the following:

1 x full length single breasted deep navy winter coat securable with convenient, large black snap buttons and a tie-off at the waist for extra security. Nothing between the tops of his shoes and his chin will be left exposed to the elements. It's well insulated and comfortable, heavier than light, but not so much it would slow him down if he needed to make a run for it for any reason. It comes with deep pockets!
1 x proper knitted sweater for additional layering; this one's an easy, cozy pullover made of the stuff of a cold person's warmest dreams. It's patterned white and grey so as not to clash with his usual outfit. It has a very small collar on the right side of which appears to be an embroidered pair of silver fairy wings.
1 x pair of the warmest black socks ever for general wear and inside the cottage to offset cold hardwood floors. They're just thick enough to be used as the lightest cabin socks ever invented whilst still fitting comfortably in regular shoes!

There's a handwritten note attached to the bow that reads:

"Will,

I don't know what to say! You look like you're cold all the time all bundled up like you always are, so I hope you don't mind that I made you some additional layers. Keep warm and stay calm, amirite?

It would appear he ran into some kind of trouble if the prominent handlebar mustache complete with curl and the word "newb" drawn on his forehead are any indication. He appears to be grasping... nothing? With one hand, and he's clearly flustered. His coat also seems to be missing a button. How curious.

[The day winds down to a close, and with it comes peaceful silence in their residence. It's the perfect time to ask Will out on a walk - the preamble for a very important conversation.

But first, he wants to ease things out. Especially when it's such a beautiful evening.]

The stars are quite bright out today, aren't they?

[Who is he to turn Strohl down? Given their tendency for near-death experiences here, Will tends to stick closely to his clemar friend. As if one of them being apart might mean their doom.

It is a nice evening, though.]

They're different stars than Euchronia. [And don't have nearly as many shooting stars.] Still. It's nice.

[Strohl's not much of a travelling person before this, but it's a life he wouldn't mind if he has Will by his side.

[ Nao has been patient -- some might say generously so considering the state Will and Strohl were in the latter half of February. She hadn't asked on the occasions she boosted their systems and visited them because she'd wanted them focused on resting and recovering from the wounds they suffered during their fight with Kazuya. They're healed, rested, and at least physically recovered now, enough that when she shared news of her acquisition of the farm on the sixth, she'd batted her lashes at them to help out, too.

Perhaps foolishly, she gave them time to bring up matters themselves. Today's the day, though. Time's up, Will! ]
