Character Questions:
1. Who is the person your character is most bonded with from their canon? Or who is someone they miss the most? The Prince. Everything he does, everything he wants is for the Prince. They were childhood friends, and the Prince instilled in him a belief in the possibility of a better world -- and the determination to see it happen. His fondest memories are quiet childhood days reading the fantasy book they both loved.
When the Prince was cursed, Will remained by his side. Even as the wasting curse worsened and he fell into a potentially endless slumber, Will would not give up. His only reason for setting out from his safe homeland was to help free the prince from his curse -- and he'll go to any lengths to do so. Lie, assassinate, become apresidential nominee candidate for the throne (to give the spot to the Prince when he's back, of course), nothing is too much.
2. What are they most afraid of?
He'd probably claim it would be failure, being responsible for losing people, or otherwise letting everyone down. And while that's not untrue, it's not his biggest fear.
No, his greatest fear is becoming a monster. Whether literally or figuratively, he cannot bring himself to even imagine becoming the very threat he's been fighting so hard to stop. He's seen far too many people who are more than willing to sacrifice innocents for their goals, and Will would much rather die than become that.
To him, the Lord Louis Guiabern -- his greatest enemy -- is the very monster he fears becoming. Ruthless, efficient, and unfeeling, no matter the righteousness of his cause. And while Will has no reason to imagine turning into a literal monster like the terrifying humans who roam the land, but the concept would strike a deep, deep chord in him.
3. What is their weakness? Emotionally, mentally and physically?
Physically, will isn't particularly large or strong. One look at his small and scrawny frame and it's clear that he's no tank. While he can do decently with a sword and maybe hold his own in a scrap, his real power is in his magical Archetype abilities, and having allies. Catch him alone and unarmed and he'll be in a tight spot.
Emotionally, Will is... too nice. He falls into naivety at times, even if he's learned a lot now. He has a chronic need to help anyone he can (his election motto is literally "Help anyone in need"), which can leave him overly busy and worried about others more than himself. He's reckless and kind of wild, willing to take any plan that even has a chance of succeeding, no matter how out of pocket it is. Even if he's careful, there are those who could find ways to use that to their advantage.
Mentally, Will is so focused on saving the Prince that sometimes he can lose the bigger picture. Sure, he's not completely oblivious, but he's willing to accept failure on that front even when success for a greater cause is nearby. For all his morals, he's willing to be as underhanded as needed to be for the Prince. He doesn't want to hurt innocent people, but sometimes you have to lie to the public and assassinate your enemies.
4. What would make them happiest?
Will is the kind of person to dream big and recklessly. There's a reason he reads his utopian fantasy book again and again, utterly taken by its dream. He wants to see a world with equality, where people are free from the cruelty and oppression he's lived with in his world for so long. But even snippets of that dream -- seeing those around him close, happy, and overcoming their anxiety gives him a joy greater than anything else.
Except maybe reading. He really loves reading.
5. What do you want out of your character in this setting?
Will is on the brink of really coming into his own as part of his character arc, and I'm really interested in forcing him through that in a very different context than canon. Having to deal with being powerless again, while also being removed from the pressures and threats of his own world are likely to push him along more quickly, or even in a wildly different direction. Plus, one of the themes of the game is the importance of meeting people and going places different from yourself to learn more about the world, and what better place to do that than a panfandom rp?

Powers and Abilities:
ARCHETYPES Will's primary power is the ability to summon an Archetype, which allows him to transform into the image of a legendary hero of old and use unique elemental magic. While he can only use a single Archetype at a time, he can switch between them in quieter moments. Each Archetype has its own skills and magic types. GENERAL MAGIC Everyone from his world can use magic (usually elemental spells, healing spells, your average fair), but it generally requires the use of a special item called an Igniter. Without that, he's out of luck. SWORDBOARD Will usually uses the Prince's sword, which is imbued with a fair amount of magic. He can focus this magic to make it float slightly above the ground, and be used as a floating skateboard. Otherwise it's a normal sword.

SPOILERS
Species: Elda | He's technically magic manifested into the form of an Elda. His "original" form that he stems from, the Prince, is a Clemar/Elda mix.
Character Age: 18 | Will has only technically existed for a few months, but he's based on an 18-year-old and so is essentially 18.
1. Continued from character question 1, "who is someone they miss the most?"
Though perhaps it's unfair to say his closest bond is the Prince, because Will is an extension of the Prince. He is pure magic given form and flesh, based on the Prince's ideal of someone who could travel freely and experience the world when he could not. During the Prince's long slumber, his soul was pulled from his body and put into the manifested form of Will, with false memories that would line up. Of course he'd do anything for the Prince. He is the Prince's will made manifest.
Section from character question 2, "What are they most afraid of?"
And while Will has no reason to imagine turning into a literal monster like the terrifying humans who roam the land -- Yet, since he doesn't know people can be transformed into those monsters -- but the concept would strike a deep, deep chord in him.
